The Job
If you’re keen to learn, ready to take on new challenges, and want to join a purpose-driven, high-performing team, this is an incredible opportunity to join Soly as a Junior Installation Manager. In this role, you will oversee residential solar and battery installations, working closely with customers, internal teams and our installation partners to deliver an exceptional experience.
As part of Soly’s Operations Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Managing the entire installation process, coordinating with customers, installers, and logistics providers to ensure installations are completed smoothly and on time.
- Technical Knowledge: Gaining a solid understanding of solar installations, estimating scaffolding requirements, and working with technical staff to resolve installation-day challenges.
- Customer Success: Guiding customers through the installation journey and beyond, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns with professionalism and care.
- Collaboration & Expertise: Sharing insights and knowledge across teams, particularly with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, to continuously improve and scale processes.
- Operational Excellence: Driving efficient, scalable operations aligned with Soly’s mission and core values.
Essential Requirements
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Customer centric with a love of speaking to people (not afraid to pick up the phone!).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
- Self-motivated, curious, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Genuine interest in solar PV and renewable energy for homes.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in solar, renewables, or the energy sector.
