About the roleSr. Staff/Principal Engineer for ALC architecture team ensuring optical/photonic/electronic/mechanical components and processes integrate into a working optical datacom product; partner with NPI for performance/reliability and transition to operations.Base salary range is $180,000 – $250,000 a year. Eligible for bonus, equity, and full benefits.Responsibilities- Guide suppliers/CMs/engineers on tests/results/designs/processes; develop component specs; align suppliers to goals; analyze vendor and Credo data; develop reliability plans/models; lead DFM/yield improvement; mentor engineers.Qualifications- PhD EE/Physics or related; 10+ years optical transceiver R&D; experience with multimode fiber/parallel optical; RF/signal integrity; data analysis/design/simulation tools.
