Job Overview

The Sales Operations and Distribution Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales and distribution channels. This position is responsible for analyzing distribution performance, optimizing workflow tools, generating critical financial forecasts, and developing incentive structures. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical self-starter, proficient with data manipulation and visualization tools, and possesses the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business strategies.

What You'll Do

Distribution & Workflow Management

  • Generate, maintain, and continuously improve the workflow and effectiveness of distribution tools and systems (e.g., CRM integrations, internal reporting platforms).
  • Analyze current distribution models and propose data-driven recommendations for enhancing market reach, partner engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage reporting dashboards to track key distribution performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time.

Financial Analysis & Forecasting

  • Create detailed incentive analysis models to assess the effectiveness and fairness of sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, utilizing historical data, market trends, and pipeline information to support strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Perform root cause analysis on variances between forecasted and actual results, providing insights to leadership for course correction.

Data Analysis and Storytelling

  • Tell the story with data: Transform complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives and visualizations for executive consumption and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks in sales and distribution data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Support ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects related to sales operations and market performance.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Sales Operations, Business Analysis, Financial Analysis, or Distribution role.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data modeling, analysis, and visualization (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
  • Demonstrated ability to use data analysis to identify business problems and recommend solutions.
  • Experience or strong willingness to quickly learn and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and machine learning techniques into analysis and workflow optimization processes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
