Position Overview: As a Sales Development Representative at Flashfood, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and nurturing potential leads. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective clients, qualify leads, and set up meetings for the Sales and Customer Success teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven company and make a significant impact on food sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Research and identify potential clients within the grocery sectors.
  • Utilize various tools and platforms to build a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and social media to engage potential clients

Qualification:

  • Engage with prospective grocery customers to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and assess their potential fit with Flashfood.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to align strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to support continuous improvement.

Performance Tracking::

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.
  • Track and report on key metrics, such as the number of leads generated, qualified leads, and appointments set.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in the tech or food industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or Hubspot) and sales prospecting tools
  • Passion for sustainability and reducing food waste is a plus
